I lead the Marketing and Communications team at OneMedical Group with a focus on ensuring we continue to play a key role in innovating and providing quality health care for the communities we serve and grow our offering to benefit more of the U.K.
I recently joined OneMedical Group after spending the last 18 years working within the advertising and media industry in both London and Sydney. My experience has been varied and has led me to play a key role in the marketing of brands such as The Times and Sunday Times, Emirates, John Lewis and Clinique. I have helped to transition the brands in an ever-changing world where digital now dominates and new revenue streams and ways of communicating have had to be carved out in order to succeed. As part of my career, I have also taken a keen interest in ensuring mental health is not overlooked in the workplace. This helped to start an initiative called ‘Talk In The Park’ which encouraged employees to take a walk with peers, team members or trained colleagues to share any stresses or issues they were facing in order to help find solutions or work on next steps together.
I am extremely committed to team work, challenging norms and being open to new ideas and see these as essential skills in communications and marketing. They’ve also helped to shape my life and my family’s spirit of adventure which has seen us move overseas and to Yorkshire to search out new challenges.
Outside of work, my family and friends come first which sees us look for any excuse to meet for food and plan a future trip away. I’m a keen runner and am also spending spare time between entertaining two small children renovating our house which I somehow enjoy despite hours of sanding and painting!
