What to Expect – Shakespeare Walk-in Centre

Our specialist urgent care team is here when you need help, advice and treatment for minor illnesses that are urgent but not life-threatening.
Check In – You will be asked to provide our patient navigators with information about yourself and your reason for attendance. Once completed, just take a seat and wait for your name to be called.
Assessment – You will be seen by one of our clinicians who will assess the urgency of your illness. If you do not require treatment you may be given self-care advice or redirected to a more appropriate service.
Treatment – If you do require treatment you will be seen by one of our clinicians. The speed at which you will be seen, will depend on your urgent care needs.
Outcome – When you are ready to leave, you may be provided with self-care information and aftercare advice. We encourage all patients to tell us about their experience so please speak to any staff member if you wish to provide feedback.
