This time, we caught up with Dan to discover how he chose the path he is on today.

Tell us about yourself and your current role.

I joined OneMedical Group at the start of 2018 as a Business Intelligence Analyst, then became Head of Business Intelligence, which quickly evolved to include broader work, and this led to my current role.

As Information and Systems Director, I look after contractual reporting, clinical systems in primary care and information governance. This can involve working on the deployment of new systems and improving our existing platforms.

What’s been your biggest accomplishment at OneMedical Group?

The Business Intelligence team and our growth. I’ve developed the team to enable us to move to more automated services, which provides us with the space to innovate and find solutions to problems.

What do you want to achieve in the future?

I’d like the team to keep developing, honing our expertise, as a well-respected, helpful resource. I like being able to mentor other people in their careers, and I encourage my team to continue training and exploring their interests. I’m always there as a point for escalation or to bounce ideas from.
