Dr Ahmed Mahmoud qualified in medicine at Cairo University and went on to complete further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before moving to the UK. He completed his GP training in 2024 and has experience across a wide range of hospital and community specialties. Dr Mahmoud is committed to providing compassionate, personalised care and values building trusted, long-term relationships with patients and their families. He has particular interests in holistic care, long-term health conditions, women's health, and palliative care.

Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends, snuggling up with my three tuxedo cats, exploring Europe on city breaks and enjoy driving fast cars!

I joined OneMedicare as a Patient Navigator in September 2025. In March 2026, I moved into my current role as Medical Secretary. I bring over 20 years of experience in healthcare. I really enjoy my job, particularly helping patients access the care and making a positive difference to their outcomes. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and my dog. I also love travelling, exploring the coast and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Exmoor National Park.

Outside of work, I enjoy watching rugby and going for a bike rides.
