News – Allied Pharmacy is Closing from 1st July 2026
Allied Pharmacy in Minehead has notified NHS Somerset of its intention to stop providing pharmacy services in the town and it has been confirmed that the branch will close on 1 July 2026.
Patients who use Allied for prescriptions will need to make arrangements for their prescriptions to be sent to a different pharmacy from 1 July 2026.
There are three other pharmacies in Minehead:
• Boots – 14-16 The Parade, Minehead, TA24 5UG; 01643 702004
• Tesco – instore pharmacy, Seaward Way, Minehead, TA24 5BY; 0117 291 3890
• Alcombe Pharmacy – 39-41 Alcombe Road, Minehead, TA24 6BA; 01643 703478
You can change your nominated pharmacy using the NHS App, or you can ask your new pharmacy to update this for you, in person or by phone.
