OneMedical Group began from a shared vision between a father and daughter to improve healthcare and the spaces that it’s delivered in. Today this idea has grown into a independent and nationwide, family-owned health group.
We provide NHS primary and urgent care services, and we design, build and manage medical premises. Along the way, we’ve built strong partnerships, expanded our reach, and stayed true to our values:

Our Timeline
Two decades of growth, innovation, and service to
NHS communities
Founding & First Build (2004–2007)

OneMedical founded in 2004 following NHS reforms.

Secured and completed first development: Beacon Medical Centre, Cleethorpes.

Launched healthcare delivery arm OneMedicare and opened The Light Surgery, Leeds – the first GP practice in the city centre.
Rapid Growth & Integration (2008–2013)

Expanded into urgent care with Derby Open Access Centre and Sheffield GP Health Centre.

Grew to 73 staff and multiple developments, including Raj Medical Centre.

By 2013, OneMedical Group formed, uniting estates and healthcare delivery.
Expansion & Recognition (2014–2017)

Opened Bracknell Urgent Care with a royal visit, and launched London support centre.

Expanded services across the UK, including Shakespeare Medical Practice and Westgate Surgery.

Introduced OneWellness and OneWorkforce to diversify offerings.
Reinvestment & Diversification (2018–2020)

Sold major property portfolio (£63.8m) to reinvest in the wider group.

Won Corby Urgent Care Centre contract, mobilised a new GP service; Whitehouse Surgery, Milton Keynes.

Launched digital health innovation with Rescon Technologies.

Relaunched property arm as OneMedical Property
Nationwide Reach & New Era (2021–Present)

Expanded into Scotland with St Neots & Aberdeen contracts.

Delivered new builds (e.g., Aspull Health Centre) and mobilised new practices (e.g., Brooklands, Neath Hill).

Rebranded back to OneMedicare in 2023 and established OneMK PCN in Milton Keynes.
