Minehead Medical Centre’s Lottie Kirkpatrick Named Finalist at South West Community Awards

Last week, our Minehead Medical Centre team proudly attended the South West Community Awards, where Lottie Kirkpatrick was recognised as a finalist in the Unsung Hero category.

Lottie received three separate nominations for her outstanding contribution as a Patient Care Coordinator, standing out among hundreds of nominees to become one of just six finalists. This remarkable achievement reflects her dedication, compassion, and the positive impact she has on both patients and colleagues.

The event was a fantastic celebration of excellence across primary care nursing and community teams, featuring inspiring speeches, and well-deserved recognition for those who go above and beyond to support their communities.

Although Lottie didn’t take home the top award, her nomination and finalist status are achievements to be incredibly proud of. The Minehead Medical Centre team shared the following message in her honour:

“We are very proud of the excellent work Lottie does for the practice, her proactiveness, and her willingness to help whenever and wherever she can. She is always efficient, knowledgeable, and swift in her actions, so we would like to say a big thank you and well done!”
