Rosedean House Surgery rated CQC ‘Good’
Following our recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Rosedean House Surgery has been awarded an overall rating of ‘Good’ in a report published in April 2026.
This is a positive achievement for our team. When the surgery joined our Group in February 2025, 14 months ago, it held a rating of ‘Requires Improvement.’
The implementation of Total Triage, increased clinical governance and oversight, and an ongoing recruitment drive have been crucial in stabilising the operations of the service. This rating reflects the significant impact of these changes; however, we recognise that our work is not yet complete. We are specifically focused on our ongoing improvement plan for the ‘Safe’ domain to bring it in line with the 'Good' ratings achieved across our other areas.
Additionally, we have been working closely with local stakeholders and NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board, who are currently reviewing plans to modernise the premises. This includes a major expansion of the historic building to provide larger clinical spaces and better access for the growing Liskeard population.
We wish to thank all our staff, Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board and East Cornwall PCN for all their support during this inspection.
Our teams across OneMedical Group and Rosedean House Surgery look forward to building on this success, by continuing to improve our services and further supporting the health and wellbeing of the Liskeard community in the years ahead.
