Dr Helen Goldie’s Award-Winning Pharmacist-Led Menopause Group Clinic
At Great Western Medical Practice in Aberdeen, Dr Helen Goldie launched Scotland's first pharmacist-led menopause group clinic. The evening clinic is held monthly and is a one-stop shop for all menopause needs, whether it's advice, questions, support, information, HRT, blood tests, referrals or just to be around women who "get it".
Helen piloted the group clinic last year and it was a roaring success. She presented the work at the Scottish Practice Pharmacy & Prescribing Advisers Annual Conference as a poster, where it won first prize and it has been selected by the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy for submission as a Best Practice Paper!
