Employee Spotlight – Jo Finney, Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Jo originally joined OneMedical Group as a Lead Nurse at Sheffield Walk-In Centre. After leaving the organisation to support her children as they transitioned into secondary school, she spent 14 years away from the Group.

Jo has recently returned to SWiC as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a longstanding connection to the service.

Joanne said: “I always remembered the fantastic team spirit and supportive environment here, which made me eager to return when the opportunity arose.

"What stood out most during my time with the Group is the sense of teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to patient care. I have had the privilege of working alongside dedicated colleagues who continually support one another while striving to provide the best possible service for our patients."

"I’ve developed a broad range of experience in governance, quality improvement, innovation and clinical leadership. I’m also involved in the national Antimicrobial Stewardship Team and also part of N-QI-CAN (National Quality Improvement and Clinical Audit Network), which allows me to share national updates, and EMCAIN (East Midlands Clinical Audit and Improvement Network) learning and improvement ideas within clinical services."
