Meet Our Mascot – Uno the Sheep
Every organisation has a beginning. For OneMedical Group, that beginning was at Bank Top Farm, the family farm of founders Mike and his daughter, Rachel. It was there, in a converted barn surrounded by grazing sheep, that the business took shape.
Although OneMedical Group has grown into a leading NHS healthcare delivery and property solutions group, the family values that defined those early days still remain at the heart of everything the group does.
That's why we've chosen Uno the sheep as our company mascot.
At first glance, it may seem an unexpected choice. But for us, it couldn't be more fitting. Not only is Uno a nod to our roots and the countryside setting where our journey began, it represents something deeper. Sheep are rarely found alone, thriving as part of a flock, where protection, trust and collective strength are at the heart of everything they do. We see OneMedical Group in much the same way. Every colleague brings their own skills, experience and perspective, but we are united by a shared purpose: delivering excellent NHS healthcare and innovative property solutions to help build a healthier future for all.
The name, Uno, comes from the idea of one team, one purpose, one family. It's the same thinking behind our motto, We Are One.
